Sid Meier’s Civilization: A New Dawn reimagines the best-selling computer game series as a strategy board game. In this fast-paced and approachable adaptation, players guide their nations in a race for territory, technology, and game-changing wonders.

Over the course of a game, players direct the course of their civilization, pursuing scientific advancements, cultural developments, and military production. As they do, they extend their control into new territory and claim resources to advance their agendas and build marvelous wonders.

From Cleopatra to Teddy Roosevelt, each player embodies the leader of one of history’s most memorable civilizations. Each civilization has its own abilities to give it an edge and no matter what civilization you embody, your goal is simple, use your unique traits to master your domain and become the leading world power.

Taking a turn is as easy as using a single card, but there is deep strategy in choosing which of your cards to use. You could deploy caravans to establish diplomatic relationships with your neighbors or crush them with your military. With randomized objectives and a beautiful map crafted anew each game, no two games are alike!

Each game sees your civilization grow from a single city to a sprawling empire filled with wonders and technology. But it will not be easy. Barbarians and even other players can threaten what you’ve built. Likewise, you can also build a militaristic civilization and battle rival cities, claiming an enemy’s loot and world wonders for yourself.

Pursue different goals with every game. Three victory cards detail two agendas each, from having 8 cities on the map to controlling wonders of the world. Players race to complete one of the two agendas on each victory card. The first to accomplish this task wins the game!
