An ancient Crab artifact has been discovered, deep within the
ancient forest of Shinomen Mori. The Crab Clan Champion, Hida
Kisada, has dispatched his youngest child, Hida Sukune to retrieve
this artifact. But as they venture deeper into the forest, Sukune must
realize that all is not as it seems. Darkness and corruption can lurk
anywhere, even outside the Shadowlands, and horrors can come
from any corner.
Trail of Shadows is a new Legend of the Five Rings novella by D.G.
Laderoute, centered on the Crab Clan. In addition to the full novella,
Trail of Shadows also includes a sixteen-page full color insert that
goes into much greater detail about the Crab Clan and the dangers
that they face beyond the Wall. Finally, you’ll find two alternate art
